Wreaths Across America at Greenwood Cemetery
Remember the fallen. Honor those who serve. Teach our children the value of freedom. Help place a remembrance wreath on a veteran's grave in Belmont, NC this December.
What is Wreaths Across America?
Wreaths Across America is a national nonprofit whose volunteers lay remembrance wreaths on veterans' graves each December. Its mission is three words long: Remember, Honor, Teach.
Greenwood Cemetery in Belmont is a participating location, with its own local Wreaths Across America group working to honor the veterans laid to rest there.

Why Post 144 supports it
Greenwood Cemetery is the same ground where Post 144 and South Point High School's Naval JROTC cadets have been restoring veterans' grave markers through Operation Respect. Wreaths Across America honors those same veterans, and we are proud to help spread the word.
Wreath sponsorships are made directly through Wreaths Across America on its own website, not through Post 144.
Help honor every veteran at Greenwood Cemetery
Sponsoring and volunteer sign-up both happen on the Wreaths Across America website.
